National Institute of Child Health (NICH)

The National Institute of Child Health (NICH)  in Karachi, Pakistan is a 550-bed public sector pediatric hospital serving over 1 million patients annually. It is the only hospital providing 24-hour pediatric surgical emergency services to over 5 million children from newborn to 14 years of age within its reach with nearly 1,000 children visiting OPD daily. It has the largest infant incubator facility as well as the largest pediatric ER in Pakistan. It provides FREE OF COST treatment to patients coming from across Pakistan, from as far away as Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Azad Kashmir. It is the hospital of last resort for these families.
